From Vision to Velocity: Experience the Hydrogen Future Today

Step into the Hydrogen Transport & Mobility Pavilion — the most dynamic zone on the Canadian Hydrogen Convention floor — where clean mobility and next-generation transport solutions take center stage.

This immersive, purpose-built pavilion is where technology meets traction: from hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, buses, and rail, to refuelling infrastructure, fuel cell innovation, and fleet conversion projects.

Attendees can see, touch, and experience the future of hydrogen-powered movement through vehicle displays, interactive models, and live discussions in the H₂ Mobility Exchange Theatre.

Designed for meaningful connections with the event’s central onsite cafe for coffee, snacks and lunch ($), the pavilion also doubles as a hub to showcase hydrogen technology vehicles to engage in business discussions and explore collaboration opportunities.

Explore cutting-edge vehicles, including commercial fleets, municipal transport, heavy-haul trucks, and zero-emission passenger solutions from innovators shaping Canada’s clean transport ecosystem.

Canadian Momentum in Hydrogen Mobility

Edmonton Region Hydrogen Hub – spearheading the creation of Canada’s first hydrogen refueling corridor connecting Edmonton–Calgary, with support from Air Products, Imperial, and Suncor.

The “5,000 Hydrogen Vehicle Challenge” — a campaign to introduce 5,000 hydrogen or dual-fuel vehicles into the region’s commercial, fleet and heavy-duty sectors, positioning the region as a hydrogen-mobility launch pad.

The Alberta Zero Emission Hydrogen Transit (AZEHT) project — demonstrating fuel-cell electric bus (FCEB) operations in municipalities such as the City of Edmonton and Strathcona County, in collaboration with regional partners.

Western Canada Hydrogen Corridors Initiative - The Western Canada Hydrogen Corridors Initiative (WCHCI) is a strategic effort to develop hydrogen-powered trucking corridors along key routes in Western Canada, led through the Edmonton region in collaboration with industry, government and research partners.

Air Products’ National Hydrogen Refueling Network - A multibillion-dollar plan to build hydrogen refueling stations across Canada, beginning in Alberta.

BC Transit & Ballard Power Systems – expanding hydrogen bus fleets across British Columbia, aligning with Canada’s 2040 zero-emission transit goals.

CN Rail & Wabtec Hydrogen Locomotive Program – advancing hydrogen freight technology to decarbonize rail transport across Western Canada.
