Mr. Fumio Inagawa, is a Senior Executive Managing Director of Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport & Urban Development (JOIN) since 2018. JOIN is the first and only government-private sponsored investment fund in Japan specializing in overseas infrastructure in the transportation and urban development areas since its establishment in October 2014 and Mr. Inagawa is also a member of Board of Directors as well as a member of the Investment Committee of JOIN.

Prior to JOIN, Mr. Inagawa was the global Head of Project Finance of Mizuho Bank from 2012 to 2016.

He has more than 20 years of experience in Project and Structured Finance, specializing in origination, structuring and advisory. During his tenure with Mizuho, he worked in the U.S. from 1991 to 2001 and led several high-profile transactions mainly in Latin America pertaining in the areas of energy, mining and infrastructure. After moving back to Tokyo in 2001, he focused on project finance in Asia as well as supporting Japanese companies on their acquisitions of assets in overseas projects.

Outside of work, Mr. Inagawa devotes his time as a Director for a non-profit organization that he established, which supports foreign families living in Japan. In his free time, he practices Zen meditation at Zen temple and Japanese tea ceremony.
