2022 Technical Courses

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.  Over her 9-year professional engineering career, Laura has held progressively senior roles in operations and pipeline design, most recently as the Operational Management of Change Lead for the Hydrogen Projects Team.  Her expertise includes operations and maintenance of distribution systems for natural gas, hydrogen, and hydrogen blended natural gas including leak detection, operator training, and emergency response. Additionally, Laura is ATCO's subject matter expert on end use appliances and is successfully running a customer outreach program to educate end users on hydrogen.  Laura has successfully transitioned 2 homes within Edmonton to run off 5% and 20% Hydrogen blended gas, the highest blend rates in North America and will be recreating these demonstrations within other homes and businesses in Alberta.
