2023 Strategic Program Speakers

Steve Kay is a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario and has worked for Enbridge for 30 years. He has held positions in a number of departments at Enbridge including Operations, Engineering, Product Development, Gas Supply and Business Development. He currently leads Enbridge’s low carbon team with accountability for hydrogen, compressed natural gas (“CNG”) and liquified natural gas (“LNG”).    Steve is also responsible for marketing hydrogen from Enbridge’s Power to Gas plant in Markham, Ontario and LNG from Enbridge’s LNG plant in Hagar, Ontario.

Steve has been a guest speaker at numerous low carbon transportation industry events is currently Board Chair of the Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance and Governance Committee Chair of the Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium. He is married with 3 adult children and lives in Chatham, Ontario where he volunteers his time as a Board Vice Chair of the YMCA’s of Southwestern Ontario.
