Clayton Heck, is the CTO and co-founder of Arrowhead Abandonments, a First Nations-owned Project Management and Downhole Tool company with offices in Alberta and Saskatchewan.  On top of Arrowhead Abandonments’ technical specializations, they are committed to bringing Indigenous workers together to help Producer’s achieve maximum benefits. Clayton is a Petroleum Engineering Technologist with 25 years of extensive oil field experience; from working service rigs to becoming a wellsite supervisor, to building a successful holistic Energy Project Management Firm with over 20 clients and 100 vendor who help our success. Clayton’s technical expertise in conventional bitumen and by-product conversions into clean, efficient hydrogen is complemented by his skills in connecting Indigenous peoples to opportunities for technical and managerial skills development, leading to an increase in sustainable employment.  In the Alberta SRP abandonment program, Arrowhead was able to take its partner’s Indigenous working content from less then 10% and go it up to 85-100% Indigenous workforce in under 2 years.
