Katherine Smith

Katherine is a Ventures Analyst working across sustainability and energy at Plug and Play Tech Center. Her role is to help expand the company's global ecosystem of startups, corporations, investors, and NGOs into the Canadian landscape. Katherine is responsible for finding the best sustainability startups and working with founders to determine how Plug and Play can assist in their scaling efforts, through investment, program involvement, and corporate partner introductions. With previous experience as a consulting analyst at Accenture, she was able to work with industry leaders and help drive innovation both internally and externally at their organizations. With a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc focused in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Queen's University, Katherine is able to use her technical background to compliment her role as a Ventures Analyst in sustainability and energy.
