Kristyn is a Senior Program Manager of Sustainability at Plug and Play Tech Center, a globally recognized venture capital firm and corporate innovation platform headquartered in Silicon Valley, California. She has over 10 years of experience in municipal government at The City of Calgary in multiple departments, including planning and development. Since transitioning to the technology industry, Kristyn has gained a wealth of experience and a deep passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. She has a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem.

Kristyn's area of expertise lies in helping entrepreneurs scale and grow their businesses, and she has a proven track record of launching new office locations and growing successful startup accelerator programs. She has worked with technology startups across a range of industries, including Sustainability, Health, Enterprise & AI, and Food & Beverage. Her unwavering dedication and commitment to empowering entrepreneurs to succeed is evident in her work at Plug and Play Tech Center and the larger startup community in Alberta, Canada.

Kristyn holds a Bachelor of Management degree in Marketing from the University of Lethbridge, Calgary Campus. Furthermore, she recently completed the Financial Feminism Investing Lab: Investor Edition, an Executive Education program focused on understanding the world of early-stage investing delivered in partnership with the University of Calgary and The51. In her free time, Kristyn is an active mentor for young professionals looking to enter the technology and innovation industry through career mentoring programs, such as Chic Geek and the University of Alberta, advocating and supporting diversity in the technology industry.
