Patrick McKenna

Patrick McKenna is Vice President Large Project Development at Linde. Mr. McKenna has over thirty years in the energy industry from across the functions of engineering, construction, and business development. 

Mr. McKenna has developed investments for Linde in hydrogen and syngas along the US Gulf Coast since 2011.  Mr. McKenna was a leader in developing the $1.8 billion dollar investment for Linde in Nederland, TX.  When completed, the Nederland, TX investment will produce over 250kta of low carbon hydrogen by capturing and sequestering over 6000 tons per day of carbon dioxide.  This investment size and scope has challenged the supply chain (logistics, labor, equipment sourcing) and industrial        infrastructure (power, water, CCUS options).  Governmental support and alignment was critical to the success of this project.

Mr. McKenna has a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Rutgers University and an MBA Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
