SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Nominees for the Canadian Hydrogen Convention Awards will be selected by a judging panel from nominations submitted. Early submission is strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for review. Late submissions will not be accepted.

STEP 1: REVIEW AWARDS CATEGORIES

Review the list of categories and corresponding questions for each category to determine the category that best fits the company or individual that you would like to nominate. A primary choice is required.

  •  If you submitted in previous years, do not submit the exact same information again for 2026
  • Limit of three submissions per organization, please coordinate within your organization on which three categories you would like to focus on
  • All submissions must pertain to a 2025/2026 initiative

STEP 2: SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION

All submissions will need to be submitted electronically through the online submission form by the January 23, 2026 deadline.

  • Ensure that you have all the required questions completed before you begin
  • The same submission may not be submitted for more than one category. If the same submission is submitted more than once, all submissions after the first entry will automatically be disqualified from consideration.

STEP 3: JUDGING PROCESS

  • After you have submitted your submission for consideration the judging panel will review all submissions after the January 23, 2026 deadline.
  • The judging panel will review the submissions based on a list of criteria given to them ahead of time.
  • All submitters will be notified by email to the main contact person indicated in the online submission form of the status of their submission by February 27, 2026.

STEP 4: GUIDELINES FOR NOMINATIONS

  • Only the information requested in the online form is required at this time.
  • Final nominees will be provided with further instructions and next steps at the time of notification.
  • If nominees cannot personally attend the ceremony, nominees will need to send at least one representative to the gala dinner.
  • dmg events assumes no obligation for expenses by nominees for travel, registration fees, accommodation, food, visa fees or other incidental expenses.

FAQ

1. Who can apply?

Applicants must currently be working on, or have completed, the project, initiative, or technology within the past 12 months.

2. When does the submission period open?

Submissions are accepted from October 27, 2025, to January 23, 2026.

3. Do I need to be an exhibitor at the Canadian Hydrogen Convention?

No, submission is open to all. If you are interested in exhibiting, contact calgarysales@dmgevents.com.

4. Can the same project be submitted for multiple awards?

No. Each project, initiative, technology, or individual may be submitted in only one category. Duplicate submissions beyond the first will be disqualified.

5. Can I submit on behalf of my company or myself?

Yes. You may submit on behalf of your company/yourself or nominate another company or individual. Ensure you have permission from the person or company and can answer all required questions fully.

6. I have applied for other awards in the past. Can I still apply?

Yes. Past nominees, award winners, or previous submitters are welcome to apply for 2026.

7. Are there any costs if I am shortlisted as a nominee?

Nominees must send at least one representative to the awards gala. Tickets for single seats or tables of 10 are available for purchase.
