She joined the NRC in 2024, leveraging her extensive aerospace sector experience. Prior to her current role, Niloofar spent fourteen years at Pratt & Whitney Canada, where she played a key role in aircraft engine project management, customer liaison, and gas turbine development, including research, component design, and certification. Niloofar Moradi's career began in the energy sector at Rolls-Royce Canada following her graduation with a degree in mechanical engineering from Concordia University in 2010. She furthered her expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from École de Technologie Supérieure in 2016. In 2018, Niloofar received the Engineering Award from the Elsie McGill Northern Lights Foundation and was recognized as one of Wings Magazine's 2018 Agents of Change, Top 20 Under 40.
