Has been leading the formation of Canadian Hydrogen Safety Centre (a not-for-profit company) to help sustain safe hydrogen handling. Has research experience in heavy water production process design, catalyst testing, and economics, and tritium management process design and evaluation while working at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited for 5 years. Has experience in leadership, strategy, and organizational development, for example involved in hydrogen strategy at CNL, managing CNL Science Advisory Board, a Board of Director with Canadian Hydrogen Association, etc. Has led national level studies and assessments relating to hydrogen and its applications. A licensed professional engineer in Ontario and has a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton.
