Dr. Sunita Satyapal is an internationally known leader in hydrogen and fuel cells with more than three decades of experience across government, industry, and academia. She has held diverse roles including as a manager at United Technologies and as Director and Chief Engineer for the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office. She and her team developed national strategies and enabled billions in funding for hundreds of hydrogen projects over the years. She also led various international partnerships with over 25 countries. She received her Ph.D. from Columbia University and has numerous publications, including in Scientific American, 10 patents, and several recognitions including two Presidential Rank Awards from the President of the United States.
