2023 Strategic Program Speakers

Janet is a corporate transactional lawyer with a particular focus on the renewable energy and natural resources sector. She is a co-leader of Fasken’s Hydrogen Energy Advisory Team (H2EAT).  She provides strategic advice to clients engaged in international corporate finance, merger and acquisition and private equity transactions.

She has recently been involved assisting clients: identify supplies of renewable energy to produce “green” hydrogen from wind, solar and hydro sources; advance efforts with utility companies engaged in strategies to “blend” hydrogen with the natural gas distributed through pipelines; access debt and equity capital for hydrogen companies, projects and related technology from a variety of sources including banks and private equity funds; structure joint ventures and limited partnerships engaged in pursuing the design, development and operation of hydrogen projects; and engage in stakeholder engagement processes impacting regulatory and market rule requirements.
