François Girard is Program Advisor, Hydrogen Technologies at the National Research Council Canada (NRC). His scientific expertise in electrochemistry and his 25+ years of experience in fuel cell technologies gave him the expertise to work on developing sustainable energy solutions. In addition to supporting a multitude of research programs at NRC that include hydrogen technologies component, Dr. Girard represents Canada at the International Energy Agency’s Technology Cooperation Program on Advanced Fuel Cells. From 2019 to 2021 he served as the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Association (CHFCA) Vice-Chair and then Chair of the Board.
